i got news that my job is ending two weeks earlier than expected. i thought i was only going to end one job this week but im ending two. as usual, these people dont know what they want or what they are doing. clearly the contract i signed in August said May 19. let me have been the one who wanted to "quit this bitch" early...works out because i got this third job extra early in anticipation of being jobless for the summer. works out even better because i am utterly sick of job number one. it is not at all what i expected to be doing. i dont like most of the people i share an office space with and if i have to hear much more of that little office assistant boy's voice i am going to go off. why are you talking to your supervisor from across the room sounding like that and that fake laugh is obnoxious and it seems painful to produce. STFU! ugh. im ever so excited to see friday this week. plus 2/3 of my classes are over this week. one dude wants to be extra and meet on monday and them IM DONE!!!!!!!!

only thing is, now i have to be much more frugal. that sucks...

i am not going to watch obsessed. no one can make me. i know i've said many times how i love idris elba but that love does not outweigh sitting through beyonce's repeated failed attempt at acting. someone thinks i owe them this because we saw watchmen and did not enjoy it. i dont because i had no way of knowing it was going to be blue penis for 3 hours. im not going into this KNOWING i hate beyonce in movies. im in no mood to punish myself. my regular life is punishment enough, thanks. if it ever shows up in my sister's netflix queue (doubt it), maybe i'll watch.

happy earth day. plant a tree or recycle something. 

now that that is out of the way, let's discuss what i'm really interested in complaining about. yesterday marked day 30 of P90X. ive been doing the dvds consistently with minimal results. my clothes dont fit much different, and i have made no significant weight loss. those infomercials lie! they make it seem like stuff is dramatic. they want you to take pics at each of the milestones (start, day 30, day 60, and day 90). admittedly, i did not do that. but i know what i look like and i know if it was anything to write home about, people would comment as such. i dont think im doing it right. i feel like im going through way too much without much reward. as of right now, i dont see myself doing this program again after the 90th day. i'll check back in on day 60.

i won this wonderful kit from brittany over at clumps of mascara. the set made from recycled materials includes:

-a 5X magnification mirror w/ suction cups

- a spoolie brush (that's what they call it. it's a mascara wand...)

-scissors

-tweezers

- an angled brow brush to fill in your brows using your favorite brow filler (the girl at MAC used eyeshadow in "smut" on me. gotta get me some of that)

i used the set and im so glad i won it and if something bad were to happen to it, i'd purchase it. get yours for about 10 bucks. what do you use to groom?
